Five Star Quiche

This scrumptious quiche is made without puff pastry, ideal for a gluten-free and keto-friendly diet. Featuring just 5 simple ingredients.

‘Whip’ it up in just 10 minutes and bake until it’s set and golden brown.



Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp, The Salty Greek (any blend)

  • 5 Eggs

  • 100g Smoked Salmon, cubed

  • 200g Cream Cheese, cubed

  • 100ml Milk

Recipe Steps

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix the eggs and milk with a fork or whisk in a bowl.

  3. Add the cream cheese and The Salty Greek blend, whisk again.

  4. Add the diced smoked salmon.

  5. Pour into a dish that has been lined with baking paper.

  6. Move the cream cheese and smoked salmon pieces evenly.

  7. Bake at 180°C for about 35 minutes.

    Optional: Spritz with lemon juice before serving.

Tips: This recipe can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and freezes well too .


Suggestions:

  • Spritz some lemon juice before serving.

  • Top with fresh parsley, chives or dill for fresh flavour.

  • Replace half the cream cheese with feta cheese instead.

  • Pour the mixture into a muffin tray to make individual portions, making it easier to pack into your lunchbox or to freeze for meal prepping.

  • Serve with a green salad and make it a perfect ‘brunch’ meal.

  • Top with sauteed spinach and roasted cherry tomatoes.

  • Avocado slices would also compliment the flavours of this quiche
