Compound Butter
Compound Butter is simply butter mixed with other ingredients–such an easy way to add flavour. It’s perfect when sautéing veggies, grilling chicken or as a finishing touch for steak–but we love it most simply spread on a slice of bread. We love experimenting with flavours to add in and keep extra frozen to have it on hand whenever needed.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp, The Salty Greek (any blend)
1 Cup Butter, room temperature (soft not melted)
Speedy version: 1 Tbsp Butter, 1/2 Tbsp The Salty Greek, mix with fork.
Recipe Steps
Mix the ingredients using a fork until well combined.
Shape the butter and transfer the mixture onto a piece of baking paper and shape it into a log. (you can use cling wrap if you want)
Roll the baking paper wrap tightly around the butter and twist the ends to seal.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
Slice the chilled compound butter into rounds and enjoy.
