Why use a refill pouch?

 

We designed the product packaging with sustainability and low-waste in mind. The 40g and 120g are made of glass, and are fully recyclable, but really the idea is to refill the jars from a pouch. *The pouches are 100% compostable and biodegradable too (zip included) in compliance with EN 13432 European Standard.


Ingredients:

 

The Signature Blend includes salt, oregano, black pepper, cumin, rosemary, parsley, dill, garlic salt, basil, fennel.

We use all natural ingredients, no preservatives or fillers – just dried herbs and spices. Each jar has a batch number and best before date, but this just indicates when dried herbs and spices are at their freshest – they can still be used after this (if your jar lasts that long!).

This product is also vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and sugar-free. For those that follow a FODMAP diet, our blend only contains less than 1% of garlic.


How to use:

 

The Salty Greek can be incorporated before, during and after cooking. For a richer flavour, marinade proteins for 30 minutes or longer. The blend can be used on everything, including meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, vegan proteins, salad, pasta, soup, rice, pastries, lentils, and much more.

Use The Salty Greek as a sprinkle, marinade, or rub. It’s also versatile enough to be used in pickling liquids (it’s the salt and seasoning all in one) or even as a salt-rim for drinks (paired with lemon, lime or fruit juice).

Tip: We’ve even tried it on ice-cream and it tastes amazing – it can be used on sweet foods as much as savoury to elevate and balance flavours!

Shake well before use to evenly distribute the blend. Store in a cool dark place away from sunlight and heat.


Top tip:

 

We highly recommend squeezing lemon juice before serving to take it to the next level.

Adding any acidic element is important to balance the flavours in cooking and let the blend truly ✨shine✨

Try citrus juice and zest: lemon, lime, orange; vinegars: white, white wine, red wine, apple cider, balsamic; verjuice; or a splash of wine!

Pour it into a pepper grinder/mill to get a finer texture and it goes further.
