Acids elevates flavour
Try citrus juice and zest: lemon, lime, orange; vinegars: white, white wine, red wine, apple cider, balsamic; verjuice; or a splash of wine!
Store your mix properly
Store our blend in a cool dark place away from sunlight and heat. Pantry check for freshness 1-2 times a year by crushing a small amount and sniffing it.
Season the right way
Pre-season your protein ahead of time so the salt has time to penetrate and add flavour into protein. Video is coming soon on how to make a basting brush.
Season from above for even coverage.
Remember, cold foods require a bit more seasoning than hot foods.
Don’t tip the open jar/pouch over a steaming casserole or frying pan the moisture will go into the jar/pouch.
If using both dried and fresh herbs – add dry beginning of cooking and fresh at the end.
